Bicycling is popular in NYC, says annual report

The New York Times had an article on the rise of bicycling in New York City. An annual report from the Department of Transportation says that the popularity rose 35% in 2008. “MORE BIKES”

“Based on figures from an annual count of bicyclists conducted since 1984, the New York City Department of Transportation announced on Thursday that commuter cycling rose a remarkable 35 percent between 2007 and 2008.
