Here’s a novel concept. Q and A with Jeff Underwood.

picture-2
Gothamist, widely read blog about New York City’s news stories and cultural happenings has published an interview with my main man Jeff Underwood, owner of Continuum Cycles.

Hmmmm, now who else has been posting “old school zine” Question and Answers about bikers on his blog?

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer person and hey it’s more bike press.

Yes, even snarky Gothamist knows whats up…
BIKES RULE!.

Check it out Here. Learn about how Jeff went from being a homeless messenger to opening one of the best bike shops in NYC.

Congrats Brother.

jeff is the best. continuum is the best.

  • You have to admit this guy knows how to work hard to make his customers happy.

I met Jeff back in 06 on a LES sidewalk where he was doing everything from straightening forks to putting old school horns on a little girl’s first bike. He had this setup where he could practically do anything from that sidewalk stand, but still had time to inform us new bikers on “honorable biking”.

Anyway, 4 years later i have moved out to SF, but i have two of his bikes with me which i hope to one day hand down the my kids. As most people knwo about Jeff, he knows what bike nuts want and that is something that need only for us to look at it and make us sigh.

    Bikes i bought from Jeff:
    1986 Eddy Merckx (fixie)
    1982 3Rensho (track)
and of course one of his tasty 2009 aluminum track bikes. (white and Red)

    Thank Jeff!
