Central Park Moonlight Ride

Meets the 1st Friday of every month at the Columbus Circle entrance to Central Park.

Enjoy the tranquility of the park and its beautiful ponds and waterways. A nature lover’s dream.

First Friday Ride

Friday, June 7, July 5 & Aug. 2, 7pm

Meets the 1st Friday of every month at Union Square N.

A fun, leisurely ride, creating safe and sane streets. Route to be determined by participants.

Prospect Park Moonlight Ride

Saturday, June 8, July 13 & August 10, 9pm

Meets the 2nd Saturday of every month at the Grand Army Plaza Entrance to Prospect Park, Brooklyn.

Discover Prospect Park at night with a peaceful ride that visits many of the park’s little-known treasures.

Brooklyn Critical Mass Ride

Friday, June 14, July 12 & August 9, 7pm

Meets the 2nd Friday of every month at the Grand Army Plaza entrance to Prospect Park.

A monthly celebration of bicycles. Bring lights & bells.

Peace Ride

Sunday, June 16, July 21 & August 18, 2pm

Meets the 3rd Sunday of every month at the Gandhi Statue in SW Corner of Union Square Park.

A leisurely peaceful ride to some of downtown Manhattan’s peace sites.

Manhattan Critical Mass Ride

CM is held in over 200 cities around the world to

celebrate nonpolluting transportation and exercise our right to the road. Bring lights and bells.

Riverside Ride

Meets the last Saturday of every month at the Columbus Circle Entrance to Central Park.

A magical, evening ride enjoying the tranquility of Central Park & the grand vistas of the Hudson River from Riverside Park.

Adapting to Change Ride

2 hour Bike tour, starts at Tompkins Park’s Gaia Tree

Sandy’s storm waters surged into Manhattan, heralding a new 21st century reality. Join Green Map System and explore both the aftermath and solutions generated in the LES, East Village and East River Park that respond to the realities of climate change. Mystery, History, Murder & Money Tour

A fascinating bike tour of dazzling and notorious sites

in Lower Manhattan. Includes New York’s legendary Five Points, world’s biggest gold cache, and arguably the most important place in USA history . . . and much, much more. Bad weather cancels.

Clearwater Festival

Coney Island Cyclone Ride

Friday, June 21, July 19 & August 23

Three meet-up spots:

7pm at the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge (SW corner of Chambers and Centre St/Park Row) OR
7:40 in Brooklyn at the Carroll St. Drawbridge (Carroll St. between Nevins and Bond) OR

8:00 at the 69th Street Pier in Brooklyn at the Shore Parkway bicycle path entrance (take 68th Street past Owl’s Head Park and bear right).

The Cyclone Ride goes to Coney Island Amusement Park (Brooklyn) from Manhattan. We should get there just in time for fireworks! This is a casual ride at a relaxed pace. Bring locks as we plan to lock up and ride the rides. Bring money for food and amusements, and a swimsuit if you plan to hit the waves. We usually spend about 1.5 hours in the park. Some people return on the subway, and others ride back in informal groups. Rain cancels.

Bring your bikes to the drag march. Nothing says resistance like drag queens and stiletto heels. Remember, Stonewall was a riot. There will be dancing, drag & unpermitted fun.

Join us for a culinary odyssey through Queens with various stops at restaurants & grocers to “study” edible invasive species.

Know Your Rights Ride

ABC No Rio, 156 Rivington Street.

We’ll make stops at POPS (privately owned public spaces) shouting the First Amendment, blasting The Clash and other radical songs of justice and end at a party to view the fireworks!

Ride, Camp & Rally

Saturday-Sunday, July 13-14, 4pm

99 S 6th St, Brooklyn.

Ride out to camp at Floyd Bennet Field on Saturday and share stories, food & dance around the camp fire. Wake up on Sunday to ride through the Rockaways to petition against the fracked gas Rockaway Lateral Pipeline with Occupy Sandy.

Our usual beach, Ft Tilden, is closed for the season, but we’re not going to let that stop us. We’ll stuff our panniers with sun block and towels and seek out the newest, hippest beach in NYC.
