StreetsPAC Ride and Meet City Council Candidates

StreetsPAC is a political action committee dedicated to livable and safer streets in NYC.

They are having a bike ride on Saturday the 20th to introduce two city council candidates in Brooklyn who they feel best represent their safe streets agenda.

Antonio Reynoso-District 34-Williamsburg, Bushwick and Ridgewood.

Finally all of Time’s Up and Transportation Alternatives hard work has paid off…at least for a this summer.

Starting Monday, July 8th (Today) Central Park, above 72nd Street will be closed to cars until Labor Day. Definitely an issue both advocacy groups have been battling for decades.

NYPD grilled about investigation of Cyclist Death

This Wednesday (2/16/12) morning was a meeting of the City Council Transportation Committee: NYPD Accident Response & Enforcement.” The hearing was lead by ongoing investigation of slain cyclist Mathieu Lefevre.

Time’s Uplead a bike ride to the event and was on hand for the proceedings.
